The Beau Rivage Hotel is a very good example of what is meant by that. The Beau Rivage makes for a great family vacation because it caters for children of all ages, from an excellent Kids Club with inside and outside accommodation and qualified hostesses, so that younger children can be cared for all day.
  <u2:p></u2:p>

A great family vacation needs activities for all age groups and not just mums and Dads. There is plenty for the active to do with a gymnasium, table tennis, beach volleyball, petanque, mini golf, exercise classes with Yoga, Tai-Chai. In the evening there is some form of entertainment every night, from pianist to bands, which are great to listen to, if the bar prices weren’t so extortionate<u2:p></u2:p>. Soft drinks, and water are extortionate at about £3 for a bottle of water, and more for a coke.<u1:p></u1:p> Be warned that shops close to the hotel are wise to this, and they have marked up their prices, so it’s worth going a little away from the hotel area to shop for a better price.<u1:p></u1:p> All in all the Beau Rivage will give you a great family vacation in Mauritius, at a price. The mix of foreign culture and a close local community is quite unique. It’s already a fait accompli that large masses of land are soon going to be moved in the north of the island. There they intend to build resorts and housing for the better off; construction on the obligatory golf course is already well under way.

There are two climate patterns here locally known as the Habagat season, literally southwest wind, and the Amihan season, literally the cooler northeast wind season. Tourists usually come to Boracay during the Amihan season, which runs from September to June, when the climate is amiable for a nice tropical vacation. As a general rule of thumb, Boracay will be in the Amihan weather pattern from sometime in September or October to sometime in May or June and in the Habagat weather pattern for the remainder of the year. These dates can vary in individual years, though. In addition, resorts are starting to appear and the various types of water-sports (para-sailing, banana boats, jetskis, water-skiing, etc.) are using this area during the White Beach off-season (May-Oct, when the Habagat wind blows). Access to the D’Mall Shopping Center is only a 5 minute walk and a couple of minutes later you are on White Beach with all the crowds, restaurants, bars, discos, etc. Pedicabs are also available for transport along the Beachfront Path. Other means of transportation include mountain bikes , quadbikes and motorbikes , all of which can be rented. Microtel is a new American style hotel with a beachfront resort feeling. The hotel has a swimming pool and restaurant on the beach, and a shuttle that runs to White Beach continuously. Red Coconut Beach Hotel stands as a distinguishing beachfront landmark in the Central Boracay area, known as an excellent venue for memorable vacation holidays. By its unique name, it offers comfortable and gracious hospitality to each and every guest. That is because during the period, which comes amid the summer season in the region, local tourists flock the island to spend the long holiday weekend. Easter weekend is usually the most fun weekend not just in White Beach, but also in the entire Boracay. Understandably, this part of Boracay is the busiest, nosiest and most crowded during the high season. Running parallel to White Beach is the Beach Path which separates the beach from the commercial and resort areas. We really enjoyed our stay in Two Seasons and brought home a couple of brochures that I will distribute and recommend to my friends and relatives. Sayang lang we have to check out early because of the re-scheduled flight with Cebu Pacific.

In the Boracay Island, you can try , sailing, skim boarding, windsurfing, fishing and scuba diving. Closely monitor ocean conditions at all times and don’t be crazy – obey all those postings and warnings. The south-eastern coast of Maui near Hana has provided creative inspiration for many who have found their way to this unique and powerful place. While completing his 12th book, “Hawaii”, the unspoiled natural beauty led author James A. Because the waves break right at the shore, it can be a dangerous beach, especially during high surf. Body surfing and boogie boarding can be difficult here due to the shorebreak. You know it’s beautiful, but if this is your first trip to Maui, going to Hamoa Beach is going to take some planning. First off, you’re probably going to be staying on the other coast. Maybe near Kihei, along in that area. You’ll have to plan a day to take a trip to the Hana Coast – along the Hana Highway. Hamoa Beach is along that highway. And in there is a problem. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up spending hours sightseeing along the highway and by the time you get all the way out to Hamoa Beach, well – it will be late in the day and you’ll be driving back in the dark. What I suggest here, is to book a day in a small hotel in Hana, and go all the way there, stopping along the way from Kihei. Then the next day, spend a lot of time exploring the beaches and inlets along the coast. It is really spectacular and you cannot go wrong this way.

Pink Sands Beach at Harbour Island, Bahamas

Pink Sands Beach located on Harbour Island in the Bahamas, just 50 miles east of Nassau. So close to mainland USA that to miss this beauty would be unforgivable. So, we didn't. And others make it a point to visit this wonder of nature as well.Harbour Island is a tiny speck, only and so narrow, you can easily see the other "coast". Whoever first set foot here 3 1/2 miles longtruly found paradise. It has one of the oldest Bahamian communities. Know the pictures of pastel colored houses? They're here! From the 1800's right on the shoreline, what a memory. If you're here for the beaches, make sure you take in the culture. Walking is best, followed by a nice ride on a golf cart. We were thinking that stocks in the local golf cart mechanic might be a winner. A real treat and "winner" as well is the food here. Don't let "conch" scare you. Yes, it's related to the snail, but tastes totally different.

The beach is pink because of the red coral in the area. Mixed with the white sand it appears pink. What was striking to us is the contrast with the deep blue sky and the green vegetation. Opportunities for pictures abound. Best times are early morning before you get too many harsh shadows messing up your shot, and late in the afternoon. Don't worry about not having enough light. The sun is almost always shining here. Rain showers occur mid afternoon. The shore slopes slowly and the sandy bottom goes for quite a ways out. Some coral remnants and rocks are clustered about, but no need for shoes. Try walking as far as you can on the beach. If you're not thinking of going in the water, take a set of good walkie-talkies from home and keep in touch as you both explore this side of the island.

Kama'ole Beach Parks, Kihei, Maui Hawaai

Kama'ole gets it's name because the central plains area, when viewed from the air, looks like a big valley sitting between the two volcanoes that formed this Island. The Island of Maui's flower is the Lokelani rose and the island's color is pink. Kamaole hotels and condos are cool because we found a children's wading pool and shopping, dining, golf and water sports are all available nearby. The large grassy areas near this area a very parky feel. There are volleyball courts and a nearby skate park if the beach isn't enough. Four tennis courts and eight BBQ areas, and ample free parking can also be found on many beautifully manicured grounds. Enjoy a cool swim in the pool or take a leisurely stroll across the street to enchanting Kamaole Beach Park III. To get there, just follow South Kihei Road south to the end (don't turn left onto Okalani Drive up the hill). Continue straight to the parking lot. Kihei is a sprawly place, strung out along the coast for several miles but never more than a mile wide. The main road north-south along the ocean is South Kihei Road and it contains almost all the hotels, condos, restaurants, shops and beaches. Convenient to everything in Kihei and close to Wailea as well. The South Coast has the BEST snorkeling and diving and we were so close.

Big Beach is the longest, undeveloped white sand beach on Maui, so it attracts many people who are looking for a beach with no homes and no hotels. Only sand dunes covered with kiawe trees occupy the back shore. Maui's Kahului airport is a short 20 to 25 minutes drive away. Grilling is often our dinner of choice both because of the variety and quality of fish, chicken and steaks on Maui and because our kids are exhausted by the end of the day. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, walking or boogie boarding, as well as magnificent ocean and sunset views. Condos near Kamaole Beach Park in Kihei offer large swimming pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, exercise room, tennis courts, barbecue facilities, putting green, shuffleboard, croquet, volleyball court and an activities tour desk. Choose from units with panoramic ocean views or garden views.

Hat Sai Kaew beach, Ko Samet

Koo Samet is part of Khao Laem Ya - Ko Samet National Park, which encompasses Khao Laem Ya on the mainland, as well as various islands in the region.“Diamond Beach” (also known as “Crystal Sand Beach”), is an especially beautiful and popular beach for Thais and expats living in Bangkok during long weekends. The east coast is the most popular, as it's dotted with sandy beaches, coves and most of the island's restaurants, bars and accommodation. The tiny west coast beach is more secluded and upscale, with only three top-end resorts to choose from. Though the nightlife on the west coast is fairly limited, the resort bars see a fairly good crowd coming to watch the sunset over the water.

White Sand Beach, Ko Chang Thailand

Ko Chang, “Elephant Island,” is the second largest island in Thailand and located just over 180 miles east from Bangkok, near the border of Cambodia. Ko Chang’s best beaches are on the west coast. It’s almost shameful to name one of them as the best, as they are all breathtaking, but White Sand Beach is the most popular of them and quite an idyllic spot. Ko Chang is somewhere you can let your hair down a little, where perhaps those who hit the road in years gone by can capture the spirit of this wonder that we call travelling, yet enjoy the facilities that they yearn in today's society.

Ya Nui Beach, Phuket

Small and secluded, places like Ya Nui Beach are becoming a rarity on Phuket. Located between Nai Harn and Rawai beaches, this cove has a lovely strip of sand that's ideal for swimming and snorkelling. A quiet road runs past the beach and, on its other side, you'll find several modest bungalow operations aimed at backpackers and families travelling Phuket on a budget.

Ya Nui beach was badly hit by the tsumani and all of the bungalows in the valley were destroyed. Many businesses with low-lying locations chose not to rebuild, and Ya Nui would likely look very different if it hadn't been for this cataclysmic geological event. As unlikely as it is, locals are wary of a repeat so the rebuilding that has occurred is further up in the hills.

The only structures you'll find on the beach now are shacks selling food and drinks or renting snorkelling gear. What that means is high above the Caribbean Sea yet still within the famed Anse Chastanet Luxury Resort. Jade Mountain Resort is a really romantic place to be, and as a setting it is without equal in St Lucia, with 24 spectacular suites, starting with the Star, then the Moon, followed by the Sun, according to the floor space and the position, and therefore the price. The Sun has the best views. Each suite is known as a sanctuary, and they are indeed spectacular with 5metre ceilings, the outside wall missing to expose possibly the most spectacular view imaginable of the Caribbean from any hotel, if not views in the world. The twin Pitons dominate the view, which takes nothing away from the huge infinity pool which appears to be suspended in space. The sanctuaries also have a large living areas using a selection of renewable hardwoods, and all have their own individual characteristics. As you might expect the bathrooms are pretty spectacular as well, with a rain shower and a chromatherapy two person whirlpool tub with panoramic views. Quite amazingly for such a 21st century Luxury Hotel, the Jade Mountain Resort is in fact very low-tech, and this is something added that makes it so very suitable for a St Lucia honeymoon. There are no telephones, , radios or televisions, and no children under the age of sixteen, which makes it undoubtedly a real romantic getaway. Each Sanctuary has a unique bell pull cord to summon a dedicated room service and housekeeping team.

Guests at the Jade Mountain Resort have a good choice of dining options. This is the place for a real break, far removed from the bustle of modern life, on a beautiful island, full of tropical greenery, surrounded by a fabulous lagoon, perfect for swimming and snorkelling and close to the Maldives’ best dive sites. Maldives is famous for its marine diversity and especially for its whale-sharks, which average well over 20 feet in length. The country has some of the most fabulous sites for diving in the world and luxurious Diva is the ideal base. The most beautiful sites are less than an hour from the Resort. The boat journey makes diving trips even more enjoyable. Guests set out in dhonis, a traditional Maldivian form of boat, and an experience in itself. The sea is never closer than in the exclusive Water Villas, standing on stilts over the lagoon. You can simply slip from your own private deck into the water.

Diving.
From the resort, guests can access some of Maldives’ most beautiful sites and encounter parrot fish, eagle and sting rays, clown fish, stone fish, and whale sharks. It is almost impossible to describe the beauty of the nearby dive sites in words. Magnificent is an understatement. Two diving sessions are organised daily, with at least one monitor for 4 divers. The sites are about 1.5 km apart and the fauna includes tuna fish, barracudas, king fish, eagle rays, small white sharks and turtles. Dive sites include Maamagili, suitable for beginners, Aa Thila for the more experienced and Thinfushi Beru Tila for advanced divers.

                  Water Sports
The reef area itself is full of colourful specimens, many peculiar to the region. The boathouse organises trips for snorkelling over the reefs, as well as catamaran excursions. Windsurfing, rubber ring and banana rides, water-skiing, wakeboards, jet-skiing, pedal boats and kayaks are also all available. The boathouse also arranges catamaran and windsurfing lessons, given by staff trained by the VDWS, the German watersports training centre.

Lanikai Beach, Oahu Hawaii

Lanikai Beach, Oahu is over a mile long and, yes, bring the camera, this is the most spectacular beach for photographs on the island. The Four Seasons Hotel, one of the best beach resorts in Hawaii, is located at this beach, and there is a Shopping Village nearby.

The Meridian Club- Pine Cay, Turks and Caicos Islands

The ultra-exclusive Pine Cay belongs to The Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Crown Colony located southeast of the Bahamas and about halfway between Florida and the British Virgin Islands. Aside from a settlement of Arawak Indians dating to A.D. 800, Pine Cay had no permanent population until the mid-20th century. Even today, this small private island, which is just over one mile wide and two miles long, has only a handful of inhabitants. Cars are not permitted, nor will you find televisions—the island's owners are passionately dedicated to preserving its undisturbed state. It is a truly secluded haven. Also at home on Pine Cay is The Meridian Club, a secluded, environmentally sensitive retreat—and the only resort on the island—situated along two miles of rugged beachfront. Guests can stay in twelve guest suites or the Tiki-hut style Sand Dollar Cottage, which is nestled along the shoreline and dunes. Privately owned cottages are also available, and all have water views. The Cabbage Patch, located seven minutes by buggy ride from the Club, is of note with its full kitchen, covered porch and sunbathing deck.
Three meals a day are included with your stay, and breakfast may start with freshly-squeezed juice and a lobster omelet, buttered red snapper, grits and coconut waffles. In the evening, after a dinner of fresh fish served poolside by candlelight, you can watch the stars from the upstairs lounge. Also fun are the West Indian barbecues and buffets accompanied by local Caribbean music.

As for between-meal pursuits, there is swimming, snorkeling, shelling, playing tennis, fishing, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, biking, walking and bird watching. And then there is our recommended activity. Each lunar month, five nights after the full moon, and 55 minutes after sunset, an amazing phenomenon occurs in the current that ebbs from the Caicos Bank, a short boat ride from the Club: the mating of a worm-like sea creature called Odontosyllis Enopla causes a 15-minute display of underwater luminescence. We suggest you time your trip to this natural occurrence and add to the magic of what is sure to be an already magical stay.

Luxury Resort on Marigot Bay in St Lucia, Carribean

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; The turnout of the party included over 600 international dignitaries, as well as celebrities. The guests were able to dine on top of the Mediterranean’s largest swimming pool and enjoying some great performances from Tom Jones and Mariah Carey. Some guests that showed up at the grand opening of Mardan Palace included Paris Hilton, Sharon Stone, and Richard Gere.

The guests that attended the opening of the hotel also got to see fireworks and a laser light show as they dined on Atlantic lobster and Black diamonds, which is an Italian black truffle.

The Mardan Palace represents Turkey’s first five star destination resort. The hotel was the vision of Telman Ismailov, who is the chairman of Russia’s biggest developers AST. The hotel has 560 rooms and includes two royal suites that come with private pools.
The architecture of the hotel keeps Turkish heritage in mind and has helped the hotel reflect distinctive landmarks located around Istanbul. The main hotel resembles the Dolmabahce Palace, and the bridges across the pool are based on the design of the Da Vinci Bridge.

The Mardan Palace also boasts a 7500sqm spa, as well as 17 bars and 10 different restaurants, including Japanese, Russian, French, and Thai style. Rooms at the hotel range from €360 per night up to €14,000 per night. The most costly rooms are, of course, the ones that come with the private pools.

The Mardan Palace also boasts a 7500sqm spa, as well as 17 bars and 10 different restaurants, including Japanese, Russian, French, and Thai style.
